Okay, so the chances are if you are looking at this piece then you already know what this is... If you don't then what you are looking at is a 4 foot musket cake. That's right.... cake. My friend Lora does this amazing comic called "The Dreamer". If you haven't read it then you need to go to my favorites and click on a piece by comic-chic. I highly recommend it. HIGHLY. Anyway, awhile back she issued a contest based on her comic. The contest rules that you had to make a piece of fanart based on "The Dreamer" in any type of medium that you wanted. I decided to make mine out of cake. What you see above is my first attempt at making anything out of cake. Lora felt it was worthy of it's own deviation here on deviant art. So... here it is.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
